Reaching the Next Generation

In his autobiography, Billy Graham recalls the first of a new kind of youth night in his Crusades:

“Admittedly, it wasn’t really my kind of music, nor was it what we have ordinarily featured in our meetings during most of our ministry. But times change. As long as the essential message of the Gospel is not obscured or compromised, we must use every legitimate method we can.”

That night, after Billy Graham told 78,000 people–most under the age of 21–about God’s love for us in Jesus Christ, more than 5,000 responded to the invitation to accept Christ.

The following articles highlight some ways youth evangelists and ministry leaders–and BGEA–are reaching a new generation for Jesus Christ.
