Integrity

November 17, 2013

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do . . .
–Philippians 4:9

Integrity is the glue that holds our way of life together. What our young people want to see in their elders is integrity, honesty, truthfulness, and faith. What they hate most of all is hypocrisy and phoniness. That is why it is important for us to go to church, to read the Bible, and to say grace at the table. Let them see us doing what we would like them to do.

Prayer for the day

Take away the “front,” Father, that so often creeps into my life. I would live in such a way that young people will be drawn to You, too.

In our Bible study last evening, we discussed "integrity". We used the scripture from Psalms 7:8, and learned how integrity comes from within us. As we build our character, showing others who we are, and having integrity. Thanks for the confirmation of our lesson. Love learning from God's word and His Holy Spirit teaching me how to have "integrity". God bless!

I truly look forward to seeing Reverend Graham every week on TBN. When I was growing up my Aunt and Uncle had Billy Graham on tv and this is how I learned about who I believe to be the holiest man who helped so many. I am now 42 and liook forward to seeing his classics. Now that I found these messages I will look forward to them as well! Thank you for your work on the website as well everyone!

Your living example and love for Christ is my mainstay, that keeps me grounded, I have followed you all my life and am blessed to have you and your ministry in my life. I look forward to the daily devotions and time to pray and thank God for all he blesses me with and that he keeps on blessing me. Letting go and letting God rule my life has blessed me beyond anything else material in my life. You are a true Man of God, I appreciate you sir.

Thank you. I pray that God will help me to practice what I preach. I recently lost my temper and as a christian I know that it's wrong and I should live by the fruits of the spirit especially 'self-control'. Forgive me Lord.

I remember when I was an especially lost sheep I would feel sad when I saw people saying the blessing over their food or reading the Bible in public. It reminded me of home. It impacted me. I sure it impacts others in the way God works in their lives.

This is such a truth in my life; if I want others to be lead to Christ, I have to live a life that they would want to live.

I greet you in the beautiful and precious name of our Lord JESUS CHRIST. I am happy to give my opinion on certain subjects or even comment. I’ve read the work of Billy Graham and I’ve been really impressed by his words and the force with which he speaks of the Lord. When I finished my reading, I prayed to the Lord, weeping and asking Him to help me walk in his ways. I confess that reading made me much good, now I talk to God. I don’t know what to say except that I have been touched & changed after reading this. GOD bless.
