Sight for the Blind

–John 9:25

I try to explain to you the joy of following Christ: the thrill, the excitement, the exhilaration—knowing where I’ve come from, why I’m here, where I’m going! There’s a reason for existence. There’s a reason for getting up every morning of the year. I try to tell you what I’ve found in Jesus Christ, and in studying the Scriptures and walking with Him, and you say, “I can’t see that!” Of course, you can’t. You are blind. Try to explain television to a blind man. He can understand a little of it, but it doesn’t make sense to him. Try to explain a sunset to him. He’s blind to it. The scales must be removed from your eyes, and only Christ can do that. He can remove them right now and you can start living and seeing a whole new world that you never knew existed, if you will let Him open your spiritual eyes.

Prayer for the day

I thank You for that Power that is able to give sight to the spiritually blinded eyes of each person who trusts in You, Lord Jesus.

All I know is I Love the Lord with all my heart. There's so much I don't understand. I listen and have learned more from Billy Graham himself than anyone else. Such a wise man. He never judged no one. He accepts people with open arms like JESUS did.

Gerry...love what you said about acquiring a deeper understanding of a subject. It is so true. The Scriptures are so important to understanding who we are and who God is. Good word.

JESSICA ,,,CHRIST help her YOU are the master doctor please help her . I myself have lost 83 pounds in 6 months no one now"s whats wrong maybe it is 1cor 3;16. 17 but i have been trying guess not hard enough.CHRIST help MARY also AMEN.

It is impossible to achieve lasting peace of mind and know true joy without first knowing Jesus Christ . Once you accept him as your Savior things will change wonderfully.......for eternity.

As a Follower of Christ it is very sad and frustrating to see unsaved people trying to find peace and comfort during times of great difficulty. The amazing answer is so near to them, yet they refuse to accept it. I pray they would reconsider ......

LORD, I thank You for the great Promise You have given to us......the Holy Spirit! Through the Holy Spirit, You removed the scales of my eyes and gave me spiritual eyes and let me start living and seeing a whole new world through Jesus Christ, Amen!

God will heal according to his word may it be done for you as in the book of Mathew. Jesus cured all diseases, healed the blind and can do this for you. My prayer is that we both have faith and trust in Christ Amen

I ask for prayer. I was diagnosed with anemia. I'm taking my medications and doing everything the doctor said, but nothing seems to be working. Please pray for me. When a person wants to acquire a deeper understanding of a subject , they may choose to go to a university and a professor will explain in detail. So it is with learning the Scriptures if we truly want to understand the meaning of them we need to first ask Christ into our lives, then he (and his teachers) will reveal the amazing, life-saving, truths contained in his Holy Word.
