What is God Like?

If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there . . .
–Psalm 139:8

I believe it is possible to know what God is like. The Bible declares that God is Spirit, that He is not limited to body; He is not limited to shape; He is not limited to force; He is not limited to boundaries or bonds; He is absolutely immeasurable. Thousands of people are trying to limit God to certain spheres, and relegate Him to certain categories that are the product of their own speculation. There is no limit to God. There is no limit to His wisdom. There is no limit to His power. There is no limit to His love. There is no limit to His mercy. Men change, fashions change, conditions and circumstances change, but God never changes.

Prayer for the day

I limit You so many times, Lord. Forgive my finite mind and fill me with Your wisdom, power, and mercy, so that I can touch those You love this day.

i love the LORD with all that i am (He helps me do this); as regards to Eph. 6 issues (serious) i'm dealing with, i find i'm more ill as of some days (?some headway achieved?); please pray. Thank you in JESUS. Praise GOD

The Bible says that God is merciful.To manytimes I didn't understand that and I tried tounderstand God with wisdom of men.But Godis totally different from men because He isthe God of the Bible.

The holy spirit has always been a tough topic for me to understand. Our finite reasoning struggle to comprehend the infinite love of God. If anyone is looking for a good read on this topic, read Forgotten God by Francis Chan- strongly recommended

God the Creator is omnipotent, Father, Son, Holy Spirit. It appears that by design, our cerebral DNA has it's limitations, hence we are relegated to our own imagination and speculation with regard to how we individually perceive our God the Father

The Lord's love is so amazing! I know that I cannot really fathom its depths. Yet, I know that he is lovingly guiding me. Psalm 139 is one of my favorites!!!

The infinite God makes promises like these: Nothing can separate us from the Love that is in Jesus. Rom 8:38-39 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you WILL be saved. Rom 10:9

Today I get to love Jesus! my hear almost bursts from the joy he allows me to feel just saying that! I am weak but he is strong. What a friend we have in Jesus. You know how it goes. I pray Jesus will fill your hearts with his precious love today.

I spend a lot of time in front of my computer monitor each day. So I paste a verse from scripture into a little window that is always open. This helps me keep Christ foremost in my heart as I surf the worldly web. Today I pasted this transformational prayer into the window. I pray that God will write it into my heart so that I will live it out today and every day.

Our Lord and Savior is God and His Spirit. I can not imagine not Him, our Lord living inside my being. To be lost in the world without our Lord. I am grateful for His love and forgiveness to one day be in heaven with our Lord and all the saints. As I walk on this earth I will give our Lord all the praise and Glory.

One only has to step outside and look around to see our Creator is limitless. How amazingly, unfathomable, it is to know that the same Creator loves and cares deeply about a sinner like me. Thank you, Thank you, Lord.

NO-limits is even harder!!! I don't think anyone can fully understand the word eternity. If true, I don't want to be separated from God.....for eternity. Makes me try harder here on earth!!!
