As the nation heads into Labor Day weekend, questions about careers and the value of work are on the minds of many people. I have one goal in life, and that's to retire at the age of 50. A couple of my friends say this isn't a very good goal, but why not? I work hard right now, and I deserve to quit working whenever I want to.

I've been unemployed for over a year, and I've given up even looking for a job. My life seems so hopeless. All I do is sit around the house and watch television while my wife nags me to get a job. How can I get out of this pit?

My nephew refuses to look for a job because he says he knows what God wants him to do, and until God leads him to the right job, it would be wrong for him to take another. But he's mainly depending on his mother-in-law to support his family. Is this right?

I work in the emergency room of our local hospital, and to be honest, I'm about burned out. I get very discouraged because most of the people who come here are here because of their own bad decisions -- too much drinking, drugs, fighting, you name it. We patch them up, but two weeks later they're back. Why bother? Should I change careers?

Even though I am retired and "living the good life," I thought at one time success was climbing the social and economic ladder. I left God behind the whole time, but now, he is number one.

Ive asked Jesus into my life several times,but I still haven't found the joy and peace.I love Jesus.and l don't understand why I've been in bad luck for many years.

In Virginia we had the Blue Law.Nothing was open on the Sabbath.Now people are forced to work on the Sabbath and can't even go to Church.My husband told his boss i will never work on another Sabbath,Our lives changed Dramatically Sunday is worship.

Oh Mr Graham do we ever need you to speak out at such a critical time in our life. It seems as though the devil is more prevalent in every phase of our lives. I do wish you would speak out concerning the election.
