Especially for You ...
Natural Resources
We have natural resources and supernatural resources. Our natural resources are varied, but they are unreliable. If they are friends, they may move away. If it's a vacation, it may not materialize. If it's a night's sleep, it may go sour.
If we look to our spouse for that which only God Himself can provide, there are bound to be disappointments. There will be times when our spouse is preoccupied with work, and we will feel neglected. There will be times when our spouse has to take a trip, and we will feel lonely. There will be times when our spouse may become tired and just a little irritable, and we will feel hurt. So much for natural resources!
Don't look to people for the comfort, encouragement and strength that only God can provide.
Instead, turn to the supernatural resources that God has given us for the meeting of our needs in order that we may in turn minister to those we love and meet their needs. The resources are eternal, inexhaustible and sure: the Living Word and the written Word.
